Medal of Valor
This is the highest award the company may bestow upon a member who performs an exceptionally
valorous act far above that which is normally expected, while aware of the imminent
threat of personal danger.

Gold Star Performance Award
This is the second highest award that Chesley Brown International may bestow upon
an employee who performs above and beyond the duty required. It is presented to
an individual who performs a distinguished act that conspicuously exceeds the performance,
which is normally expected and brings credit to the organization and the member.
The act is recognized by fellow employees, managers, and the general public as an
outstanding accomplishment in the interest of public safety.

Meritorious Service Award
This award may be presented...
- To a member for the successful development or accomplishment of an administrative
task or project in which the candidate displayed exceptional initiative, tenacity,
and expertise.
- When an employee's submission of an idea, device, or method has been adopted by
the company and has increased the administrative or operational efficiency of the
company.
- As a means of rewarding exemplary, continuous, long-term professionalism by an employee.
- To acknowledge a supervisor or manager for significant actions, ideas, and/or progressive
leadership that contribute to the accomplishment of company goals.

President’s Award
This award is presented by the President to employees who display exceptional performance
of duty during a major public event or incident, exhibit outstanding leadership
and management characteristics on a consistent basis, or contribute significantly
to the professional image of Chesley Brown International. The recipient also receives
a $100.00 bonus from the President.

Unit Citation
The Unit Citation may be awarded to a unit, element, or group of personnel who,
as a group, performed in a manner that, if performed by an individual, would merit
recognition in the form of a Certificate of Commendation or the Meritorious Service
Award.
The element recommended must have further exhibited superior or outstanding performance
over a period of time, which is above and beyond that required by Chesley Brown
employees and occurred as a result of a coordinated and cumulative effort of all
assigned members performing as a team. This award does not preclude awards to individual
members for accomplishment during the cited activity.
Only members who took part in the action being recognized will be awarded, and authorized
to wear, the ribbon.

Exceptional Performance Award
This award may be presented to a member who displays exceptional initiative, judgment,
problem identification, problem resolution, and customer service skills in such
a manner so as to bring credit to themselves and Chesley Brown International and
their conduct and/or actions is recognized by fellow employees as an outstanding
performance of duty. The award may be presented for performance during a single
act or incident, or to recognize an ongoing exceptional level of performance of
duty.

Customer
Service Award
This
award
may
be
presented
to
a
member
who
displays
exceptional
delivery
of
customer
service
to
our
clients,
tenants,
visitors,
or
employees
in
such
a
manner
so
as
to
bring
credit
to
themselves
and
Chesley
Brown
International.
This
award
may
be
presented
based
on the
following
criteria:
- Written
documentation
from
a
citizen
specifically
acknowledging
the
customer
service
skills
the
employee
displayed
in
dealing
with
the
individual and
a
letter
of
recommendation
from
a
DOS
or
ADOS
level
manager.
- An
employee
that
receives
three
(3)
or
more
Salutes
in
any
one
year
period
that
specifically
highlight
the
customer
service
skills
displayed
by
the
employee. The
one
year
period
is
not
based
on
a
calendar
year
but
when
the
first
of
any
three
in
a
year
Salute
is
issued.
- Any
recommendation
from
a
Corporate
executive
or
Director
of
Security
from the
rank
of
manager
or
above.

National Defense Award
By direction of the President of Chesley Brown International, this award is to be
presented to all Chesley Brown® security officers employed on September 11,
2001 or immediately thereafter to recognize their contributions to the national
defense following the terrorist attacks in New York City, Washington D. C., and
Pennsylvania.

Supervision and Leadership Training
This award ribbon is presented to those security officers and supervisors who successfully
complete the Supervision and Leadership Training course.

Management and Leadership Training
This award ribbon is presented to those supervisors, assistant directors and directors
who successfully complete the Management and Leadership Training course.

Attendance – Excellent
This award ribbon is presented to those security officers/supervisors who complete
one continuous calendar year of service without missing a scheduled work day.

Attendance - Outstanding This award ribbon is presented to those security officers/supervisors
who complete one continuous calendar year of service missing three scheduled workdays
or less.

Certificate of Commendation
The Certificate of Commendation may be awarded for an exceptional act, actions,
and/or conduct, which brings credit to Chesley Brown International, the client,
and the employee, and is recognized by fellow members and citizens as an outstanding
accomplishment of duty.

New Division Ribbon
Chesley Brown International, Inc. recognizes individuals who have been directly
involved in creating and starting, or originally employed in a new security division
or operation that did not previously exist. This ribbon is presented at the discretion
of the Chairman and CEO.

Tenure Pins
Tenure pins are awarded after five, ten and fifteen years of continous service with
Chesley Brown International to recognize and reward our loyal officers. |
