Chesley Brown International, Inc., a world-class leader in the security management industry, has recently adopted a new methodology for bridging cultural gaps at its serviced locations. Recognizing the fact that “security” involves serving and protecting everyone in their commissioned environments, Chesley Brown is developing a new and innovative tool to improve vital communication between security personnel and the publics they serve. Over the years, Chesley Brown personnel have compiled lists of questions and phrases commonly exchanged between security people and the public. Also recognizing that the Hispanic culture is among the fastest growing in the United States, Chesley Brown’s newest FLIERS member who happens to be fluent in Spanish, has translated this information and created what is being termed as a “Culture-Card™”. Now, all Chesley Brown employees will be able to respond to typical questions and/or comments with the help of their Spanish Culture-Card™. This unique concept is expected to be expanded to other culture specific properties as the need arises. Over time all appropriate security personnel may be equipped with several Culture-Cards™ for languages specific to their covered areas. This will help to improve communication and in turn improve security. Chesley Brown International Inc., established in 1990 as a security consulting and auditing firm, has evolved into an industry leading Security Management Services firm. Headquartered in Atlanta, Chesley Brown now has a client base encompassing nearly thirty states domestically and three continents internationally. The firm specializes in Class A office buildings, corporate campuses, shopping centers and the increasingly popular lifestyle centers. |
