Lisa Offield – Assistant Director of Security – Country Club Plaza

Lisa Offield joined Chesley Brown International in September of 2007.
Prior to joining Chesley Brown, Lisa worked in law enforcement; she is POST Certified in Missouri and has been in the corrections and security field for 9 years and spent 4 years in JROTC and SROTC. She is currently assigned as the Assistant Director of Security on the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, MO. Designed in 1922, the historical Country Club Plaza spans 15 blocks and is the nation’s first master-planned suburban center to accommodate people arriving by automobile. The Plaza is one of the Midwest’s premiere attractions for shopping and fine dining.
Lisa feels the more important aspects within the security industry include providing a service that exceeds what “everyone else” claims to offer and in so doing, having a genuine concern for the protection of the property and the client’s interests. Another important aspect is encouraging positive customer relationships and the attitude that their concern is ours; as well as maintaining the officer presence put forth to the public and to the client.
Lisa had become discouraged with other security companies, being told that caring or going beyond the bare minimum was a waste or unnecessary. She had almost lost hope that there was a professional environment where she could feel supported and encouraged. She is happy to say that in the last year, she has finally found fulfillment. She has found opportunity to be herself and in so doing, has been recognized for all those things she was told was unnecessary in the past. She says that in and of itself makes her a believer in the mission and the goals of Chesley Brown International.
Lisa is a mother of two daughters and loves to work in her yard, enjoys reading, cooking and being active.
